Three Kayaks (2004)

This photo was taken at Delhi Metro Park on the Huron River just northwest of Ann Arbor, MI. My goal was to take a photo that capitalized on the bright, vibrant colors of the boats and eliminated the distracting background images (trees, picnic tables, river, etc.). I was really pleased with the parallel lines created by the boats and their shadows.
