Paintings

My Mom had been giving me a hard time because up until very recently, I had only been painting nudes... specifically male nudes.  Her usual critique of one of my paintings always ends with "Why can't you just paint flowers?"

Well, below is my very first attempt at painting flowers, and also my first attempt at working with oils.
